How much would you charge for that?" -- 1. I offer help in German immigration and citizenship law. 2. To determine the chances of success, I have to a) understand the goal to determine the potential legal provisions, b) check the factual circumstances and documents for each requirement of those provisions and c) determine whether all requirements are met by facts as well as legally. 3. Since I can only offer my expertise and time, I already charge for step 2. After the initial consultation I would estimate my time needed for the next step and offer a flat-fee based on that estimate.
